Scott Baker was born in Texas and raised all over the earth thanks to a father in the military. In addition to acting and singing, he is a professional American Sign Language interpreter, a minister, a writer, and a professor at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. His voice can be heard on Disney's authorized recording of Mary Poppins. In addition to ASL, he speaks French and knows smatterings of Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic. In the first half of 2015 he began staff writing a web series produced at Lipscomb University's department of Film and Creative Media called "Drama Major." In 2016 he will be publishing a book on interpreting Shakespeare into American Sign Language.
