Originally from Long Beach California, Anthony Darrell has always been close to Hollywood...He fell in love with acting at the age of 6 years old writing plays and performing for his Church on Saturdays once a month. He began acting in high school plays at the age of 16, having taken theater classes all throughout high school, he was a very popular child known for making everyone laugh. He was elected class clown by his student body in 2004, and after graduating high school, began stand up comedy at local clubs from 2005 to 2007. Anthony also attended Cerritos college in 2005 where he continued his education in Theatre & Film. Throughout the years Anthony has featured in several independent films, in both leading and supporting roles, as well as landing his first national commercial for the NBA co starring Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz. Months later he landed a role in Nate Parker's feature film titled "American Skin", Co starring Omari Hardwick. Combining Anthony's physical stature with his outgoing personality, he is able to play virtually any role, and multiple genres rather it be Drama, Suspense, Action or Comedy. Anthony says 'Acting is not "Acting"... Its "Being"... in order to fully embody a character, you have to become the character, both mentally and physically. He received acting lessons from Earnest Johnson of Jita Films, as well as coaching from Actor, Producer, Poet David Bianci. Anthony is also a veteran slam poet, winning several awards for his self written pieces and performances. He is a true star on the rise with a promising future ahead of him.
