Allen Macbean

Allen grew up in Utah, attending both Southern Utah University and Utah Valley University (UVU) where he studied pre-law then arts & visual communications and was a member of the Men's Volleyball team. He married Noreen Carey Macbean in 1998 while at UVU. He has worked at Photographic Solutions, a commercial and aerial photography studio since 1996. He earned his private pilots license in 2004, and now has Instrument and Commercial ratings as well. In 2013, Allen and Noreen teamed up with Courtney Jones to create Adventures on the Fly! - a reality based flying adventure show. The first season had 10 episodes. Four additional episode for season two were shot but never aired. The show was put on hold while seeking national syndication during 2014. Allen's wife Noreen passed away in a tragic cycling accident in March of 2015. In 2016, Allen filmed a pilot episode of "Alaska Calling" for the History Channel. The premise of the show was ordinary people attempting to make their dream careers come true in Alaska. Allen's role was aspiring bush pilot. The show well liked by the network, but never picked up due to scheduling issues. In 2017, Allen met and married Emily Stevens Macbean and they now work together at Utah by Air, the aerial photography division of Photographic Solutions. They have a ten year old female Labrador named Howie who likes to lick Allen's elbow when he isn't paying attention.
