In high school, he performed scene's from Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf and The Lords of Discipline for speech and debate competitions and in college he studied theater with plays like Tea House of The August Moon, & Little Shop of Horrors. Making the most of a political science degree he worked as a public opinion pollster and statistician for a number of years. In his late thirties, he renewed his childhood ambition to pursue film and television acting. He's studied Meisner technique, method acting, and improvisation. Lovegrove is now a professional freelance actor working throughout the southeast.
