Bonjwing Lee was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Northwestern University, where he received a B.S. in Radio/Television/Film in 2000. After working in Hollywood, and in the United States Senate, he attended the University of Michigan Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2006. After practicing law for a number of years, he is now a writer and photographer.
