Kelly Werkheiser is an actress and singer who has worked on well over 20 feature films and television shows. She inherited a passion for the performing and visual arts from her mother, Elsie, who won many lead roles in her youth, performing in school and local theaters. As a child Kelly spent countless hours rocking out in her parents' basement, trying to steal microphone time from her brother's band. Kelly reveled in her own creative realm, exercising her passion for creative writing, poetry, painting and play acting. At age 20 she landed the role of "Coco" in Allentown, PA's Civic Theater production of the musical "Fame", and had a chance to shine as the ambitious and multi-talented high school-aged character. Kelly moved to Philadelphia where she found an expansive culture of art and entertainment, and continued to be at home on stage as the lead singer of several bands, and also recorded in studio sessions. She also dabbled in performance art and modeling. In addition to performing, she has put in some time on the other side of the camera as an art director for a web series and feature film. She continues to pursue her first love of acting, landing leads in short films, and is often prominently featured in films and television shows.
