Louis was born in Copenhagen in 1993 and graduated as an actor from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2019. During his education he gained experience in classical and contemporary theatre - ranging from Tuzenbach in Chekhov's 'Three Sisters' to Harry in 'Wastwater' by Simon Stephens as well as devising original works. Pre- and post his drama education, Louis collaborated closely with the National Film School of Denmark, acting in films and working with the animation department as a voice actor and training and performing with their motion-capture technology. He wrote and performed in his final exam about collaborative story telling and improvisation, including writing a book about self-aware fiction. Louis is a skilled pianist, who has combined his talents in classical, jazz and rhythmic music with acting performances since his childhood. He can play a variation of instruments, guitar, trumpet, flute and the drums. He has received martial arts and stunt training from the fellow Danish stuntman Martin Spang Olsen and has taken magic and Illusionist classes by the highly acclaimed Danish magicians: Mr. Mox and Rune Klan. Since his debut as the leading role in the biggest Scandinavian family event, 'Cirkus Summarum' (2019), followed by continuous work with DR - Danish Broadcasting Corporation (2019-2020) and his role as John Little in 'Robin Hood' (2020) on Folketeatret, he has developed projects of his own during the Covid lock-down, including a Dungeons and Dragons podcast, animation sketches and a stage production about Manga and Anime in Denmark. Louis is based in Copenhagen and is the son of the Danish actor Kim Bodnia and actress/singer Lotte Andersen and he has co-acted with both parents in the films 'Mommy dear' (2011) and 'Far' (2015)
