Sarah Price is a Chicago-based actor, comedian, and screenwriter with a foot firmly in each camp. Born in Jupiter, Florida, she started improv classes in the '90s (you know, before it was cool) and listened to her Mitch Hedberg and Maria Bamford CDs til she quite literally wore them out. She graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting, and then returned to her comedy roots to complete iO's Improv Training Program and The Second City's Conservatory Program. Sarah's found success in the Chicago theatre scene getting to explore her range, from her breakout role as the bright-eyed ingenue in Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey, to a fantasy comedy heroine in Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment, to more grounded and gritty roles in works by Mike Bartlett, Zinnie Harris, and Alistair McDowell, and in 2019, she won one-tenth of a Jeff Award for Best Ensemble in The Goodman Theatre's production of The Wolves, directed by Vanessa Stalling. Sarah is also a stand-up comedian and has performed at shows all over Chicago. She co-hosts and co-produces The Missy, a monthly comedy show, with Helen Joo Lee (Black Lightning) and was a featured comedian at The Chicago Women's Funny Fest ('18) and Boise's 208 Comedy Fest ('19). Sarah is also-also a voiceover artist and you have likely heard her at the end of a lot of Chime commercials. She also plays Augie Eckhardt in The Vanishing Act Podcast, and won a 2020 Audio Verse Award for Best Performance of a Leading Role in a New Audio Play Production.
