Mercedes M. Wilson

Mercedes Wilson is an actress and theatre educator from Baton Rouge, LA. She has been performing since high school and obtained her BA in theatre from LSU, with a concentration in performance. She worked on over 10 productions at LSU, both as a performer and stagehand, and has also worked on productions with Playmakers of Baton Rouge and Theatre Baton Rouge. During her time at LSU, she was introduced to film and worked on projects with friends and other students to learn more about the field. Most recently, she has had featured roles in the web series Requiem and a UNO graduate student film project, Pro-Motion; she has also appeared in two Baton Rouge General commercials. In 2014, she began teaching theatre for the gifted and talented services of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and continues teaching and working with young talent in the Baton Rouge area.
