Alan is a British author who has published multiple books since his first self - published novel 'The Dark Army' went to print in 2010. He has been represented by the Inspira Group Literary Agency in London since late 2009, has two self - published titles and five traditionally published novels, as well as screen writing credits for the short horror film 'Nyctophobia,' produced by After Midnight Productions, and the upcoming black and white horror film 'The Long Walk Home.' Alan won the New Generation Publishing Prize for the 2012 third installment of his young adult's book series, 'The Tales of Averon: Forest of the Damned,' which was published in a trilogy edition celebratory omnibus titled 'Tales of Averon: Dawn of the Great War.' In 2014 his debut horror novel 'Haunted' was published, and has been praised by established paranormal investigators such as Barry Fitzgerald (Ghost Hunters International), UK Haunted and Bill Murphy (SyFy's Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files), as a true to life depiction of paranormal activity rarely seen in fiction. 2014 was a good year for Alan, as his debut US novel 'Witch' garnered the attention of an international audience. Upon its success, the novel was then published in the UK under the new title 'Drawing Down The Moon.' Although the American publication is no longer available in paperback, both novels are available separately as audio books despite being the same novel. Alan's most recent novel, 'The Long Walk Home,' tells the story of a school sports team on their way back from a game at a rival school when the zombie apocalypse befalls the UK, and the journey they take in an attempt to make it home. Alan is also a qualified Parapsychologist, and has appeared on Really TV's Facebook Live investigations with UK Haunted. Alan enjoys the quiet life and does not advertise or market himself or his work with websites or social media pages.
