Mercedes Ramcharan

Mercedes Ramcharan was born in Ft. Hood, Texas to her parents Bede Ramcharan (US Army Officer) and Rudeen Ramcharan (school teacher). The military family moved every 1-2 years so Mercedes was able to experience different cultures and people across the country and world. With every move, she became more outgoing and assimilated easily into the environment around her. Theatre and Journalism were her two passions through high school. Journalism trumped her acting bug in college when she obtained her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. After graduation it took a few years but she finally rekindled her acting fire with a bet to attend an audition at the 13th Floor Haunted House in San Antonio. She was hired on the spot (2010). From there she was cast as a zombie extra in Zombie Prombie, and became a model for Farris Photography (2013). She hopes to build a reputation as reputable actor and model in the years to come.
