Known for his Intensity and presence, Johnny-Arash is regarded as one of the most interesting and bold actors to graduate from the prestigious Studio 58 Conservatory of Drama. Johnny was born in the Himalayan regions of Kashmir where he lived until he and his family moved to Montreal. At an early age, Johnny discovered a passion for boxing and became heavily immersed in the sport, eventually earning the privilege to represent the highly competitive Astoria boxing club throughout his career. While fighting for Astoria, he was awarded the EFES beer Best Boxer Award and competed admirably at the Golden Gloves Tournament. Though he enjoyed the thrill of competition that boxing provided, Johnny had always known that deep down he had a different calling: To act. The passion of these talented men inspired Johnny to hang up his gloves, enroll in Studio 58, and follow his dream with everything he had. In 2014-2015 he earned sterling reviews for his heartfelt portrayal of Martini in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and for his original take on Ali Hakim in Oklahoma! the musical.
