Prabin

Whether he be writing or directing, he works with the layers of human emotions. Graduated from Oscar Film College in Screenwriting and Direction, Prabin Syangbo is known in Nepali Film Industry for his skill to play with characters and his philosophy. He is the founder member of the company Local Cinema and is a Creative Producer, Writer, Director and an Editor. He has gained good critics review for his first feature "ADHYAYA" where he has shown the three different stories struggling for their individual love. He guides the new filmmakers in their concepts and writing and has worked as script analyst /consultant in many short films including SAAVITRI; KAAFAL PAKYO; MANASHI; which has won awards in International Short Film Festival circuits like Eka Deshma International Short Film Festival, Nepal; Bogota Film Festival, Colombia; and the Cambridge International Student Film Festival, London. Prabin is also a good editor and is a lecturer in the Oscar Film College and the Everest Film Academy. He is the producer of his first film ADHYAYA; BISHMRIT and KATHAA '72 and the upcoming project AINAA JHYAAL KO PUTALI. and CHISO ASHTRAY. Prabin Syangbo editor/director/producer from Nepal. Currently, Local Cinema is developing the projects Aina Jhyal (Windowpane) by Sujit Bidari (Under Post Production ), Cold Ashtray by Dins Palpali (Under Production ).
