Jennifer was born and raised in the Detroit Metro area by her parents, Richard and Carol Anderson, Detroit natives themselves. The oldest of six kids, she graduated Eastern Michigan University as a biology major, never intending to take acting beyond her community theater hobby. She moved to the Clevelnd, Ohio area in 2004 and really began pursuing her acting career more intensely with indie films. After the death of a loved one from a self inflicted gun shot wound and losing her job at the same time in 2014, she realized that life is too short to not do what you love. It was at this point that she decided to do what she needed to do to make acting her career and not a hobby. Her most recent professional independent film production was in the short film "Toxic," a story about the effects of racism, as the bumbling coworker, Karen.
