Dannette Vassar

Dannette is a theater actress and science teacher in the Sacramento area - having performed with the Davis Musical Theatre Company since 1997 - where she has appeared as Smitty (How to Succeed in Business...), Bloody Mary (South Pacific), Jennyanydots (Cats) and Mabel (Pajama Game)...to name few. At DMTC, she has also been a light designer, Stage Manager, and Costumer as well as the secretary of the DMTC Board of Directors. After her second Elly Award nomination (Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance) for lighting design, her theater biography was written up by Sacramento Magazine. On television, she has appeared in several promotional spots for Good Day Sacramento. She has also appeared with the Winters Theatre Company as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Conrad in Much Ado About Nothing. Additionally, she is an amateur photographer.
