Travis J. Dopp

On a fall night, Travis was born in Cereal City, but was raised in a small historic town in Michigan. Studying Architecture, Film, Writing, and Acting; a few credits shy of a degree, Travis decided to hit the road with his band before graduating. Making connections with bands and labels, he directed his first music videos for Cursive, Small Brown Bike, and Cheap Girls. In between music video gigs, he would shoot shorts with his brothers, and take on nonspeaking rolls for commercials. Later he pitched, created and directed campaign commercials for The LA Film School, and The Shadow Conspiracy. Standing in front of the camera, Travis began taking hold of the acting trade by trial and error. He relies on his instincts and guts when understanding and portraying a character. Attracted to the untamed and wild, Travis puts his entire self into a role, he enjoys the challenge of breathing life into a character. His credits include Dragons, Social Animals, Walk Men: The Part Zoo Story, Hands on Psychologist, Poop People and The Tin Man (short).
