Shonna Bedford

Shonna is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the youngest of her siblings, growing up in a Christian home. She started out writing poetry when she was a child. She loved singing in church and acting in church plays and always wanted to pursue something in the entertainment industry. As she got older, she continued to write songs but put them to the side while raising her son and working. She also plays the guitar. She released her first single "Drop to My Knees" in 2014. She then released her book "Skeletons" and single "Rain" in 2015. She filmed her first music video (award winning music video RAIN) released in 2016. This was her first official acting debut. She has continued pursing acting in different genres. Since she was already an author, Shonna decided to pursue screenwriting, directing and producing. She wrote her first film (also starring in and producing) "Loved One", inspired by a true story. Shonna is a world traveler and acquires a lot of inspiration for her films and songs through her travels.
