After experiencing Star Wars Episode IV at three point five years old, Screenwriter and Script Supervisor Mel DuPont matured in pre-smartphone Rhode Island: reading the classics, escaping into 80s sitcoms, and writing angst-ridden preteen journal entries. This swordfighting-astronaut wannabe grew up to become a social media spewing, world traveling, tree climbing, technical writing geek adventurer and cheerleader of humans, who likes to laugh about life's absurdities. Chat her up about SXSW, indoor and outdoor skydiving, cross-continent road-tripping, where she was on 9/11, and the projects she is zealously defibrillating until they scream with life.
