Being an heir of famous filmmaker and technician Nandlal Jaswantlal Bhat, who has made revolutionary films like 'Anarkali', 'Nagin', 'Sanam', etc., Swati Bhat grew up listening to stories of shoot life and the business and passion involved with it. In her early stages, she knew that she would work only for the entertainment industry, and she joined a film school to gain a better understanding of film making. In a parallel manner, Swati Bhat started to walk on her dream path as an assistant director for a daily soap under the banner of Puja Entertainment. Her first film as an intern was 'Rang De Basanti." She learnt direction, production, execution, distribution, project design, character design, PR and marketing strategy, and brand development with a complete sense of how the entertainment business works so that she can fulfil her dream of opening a multi-functional production house. To expand her knowledge of film execution and the entertainment business, Swati Bhat worked with experts from nearly all divisions of film making, which included brilliant choreographers like Saroj Khan, Raju Khan, Shiamak Davar, etc. as troop members and asst. choreographer, and vast Bollywood and Hollywood Studios like Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision as an in-house production intern, East West Films (Los Angeles/New York) as assistant director, Jhamu Sugandh Production as asst. writer/assist. assistant director, NH Studios as production controller, Ganagni Films Private Limited as creative head/D.A./marketing and distribution strategist intern, Maya Movies as company secretary, Angel Films (Canada) as project designer/business head (India).
