Aaryan K. Trivedi, born 1995, grew up in the UK and raised in London, Mumbai and Los Angeles, he was brought up in the entertainment industry given that his father, Kirit Trivedi was a successful concert and film producer in the 70s 80s and 90s and his mother Minal was a casting agent. Trivedi grew up watching the rise of the Eastern Epic Entertainment group, learning the ins and outs of the film industry and how such a company operates, this made him the perfect candidate to re-open the company in 2013 after its 7 year dormancy, as Western Epic Entertainment, The company has been involved in organizing and closing multi-million dollar deals and producing some of the world's biggest concerts ever put to stage. Since it's reopening Western Epic Entertainment is already becoming globally recognised for having partnered on projects with world renowned companies such as Distant Horizon, VideoVision, Five River Films and Cleopatra Records. Trivedi penned his first screenplay at the age of 13 and never looked back after that. He went on to break records when he sold his first script at age 17 being recognised by media and press outlets such as Live For Films, and he then produced his first feature documentary (Achtung Baby) which he joined when only 17 years old. This led him to successfully carve out a career for himself as a screenwriter, with a series of shorts and features. After this Trivedi was frequently contacted by studios and production companies to read scripts that needed work and to consult on how to improve them, and also look and comment on any potential or in play marketing strategies. Trivedi has spent years navigating his way through the film industry, building strong relationships and ties with financiers and talented creators from various different industries, whilst also creating partnerships with a vast list of production companies and getting a taste of whatever the current state of the market is. In 2015 Trivedi also operated as an international correspondent for various production and distribution companies across the globe, whilst also helping secure finance and attachments for different productions, recently working closely with the 'Kings of Durban' team (South Africa). In South Africa, 2016 The Sunday Tribune news publication recognized Trivedi and his work with Western Epic Entertainment when they announced that he had bagged the film rights to the book Kings of Durban. Trivedi continues to thrive as an independent producer, set to be co-producing the official Hawkwind film with Cleopatra Records and also working as a creative producer on the upcoming film 'Goan Sonata' which F MURRAY ABRAHAMS (Academy Award Winner) is set to star in, Trivedi is helping secure significant attachments and finance for the film, which has a 6 MILLION USD budget. Trivedi was brought to South Africa to work on 'Shepherds and Butchers' on which he consulted, on this project he met Oliver Schmitz the director of the film. They hit it off and bonded over common interests and the same goal to have the freedom to create original content, and for the artists to have the freedom they need to do so while understanding the importance of commercial viability. Within a year and a half the pair founded WTHW (what the hero wants) Gbr, a creative artists fund designed to nurture development, find finance, create production, market and most importantly give the artist the freedom they need to work on projects that excite them... A company set up to partner vast experience with youthful innovation with exciting new art projects both in Germany and internationally. WTHW will stay focused on working with the youth and giving them the tools and knowledge they need in order to create high-quality material and content. WTHW plans on working with different artists on material in multiple mediums of art for different industries, however, primarily focusing on filmed entertainment to build up the necessary capital reserve to apply funding to other projects. They continue to find a series of investments and keen investors wanting to invest in the fund, WTHW has picked a strategy that means any profits generated from any independent art project are reinvested in buying assets that can independently generate revenue and profit for the company, then reinvest those funds in art projects along with other investment from the company. This is in order to sustain a healthy cash flow and profit. This also demonstrates that the business model for this fund is unique and unlike any other in that respect. WTHW has 5 active feature films in development with significant attachments. They have 2 features in Pre-Production, including 'Bugs & Drugs' which will commence principal photography in February 2018. They are also currently working on developing a fashion line, a Theatre play, and Artificial Intelligence Start-Up, 'TasK AI', along with other projects on which they are consulting. WTHW aims to be the artist's platform for the future, to support and fund artists that want to make original art and drive or make a change in their industry.
