Darius "Leddi" Ledbetter (born 18 March 1999) is an African American actor, writer, director, rapper, songwriter and videographer. He has enjoyed success in film, music and musical theater. In June 2017, The Tab called him "Kalamazoo's most talented young actor and filmmaker." Along with being awarded the "Best Male Actor" award in the End of Days Film Festival for his role in "The Fort," Darius has been nominated for other numerous awards, including a nomination for best acting in the Orlando 48 Hour Film Project for his role in "As They Were." In 2016, Ledbetter achieved modest, local fame as an internet personality on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. With comedy videos, challenges and social change projects, he has reeled in hundreds of thousands of views and gained notoriety from pages of those including retired New York Yankees' Captain Derek Jeter. Ledbetter was born in Southwest Michigan, the son of Stacey (Randolph), and Victor Ledbetter, both retired Captains at the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. He grew up in the city of Portage and was raised in the suburbs. He has one sibling, a brother, Victor, who is two years older. Ledbetter attended Portage Public Schools throughout his entire childhood. Ledbetter is a graduate in the class of May 2019 from the film school Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in film. Aside from acting, Ledbetter enjoys writing and directing projects as well.
