Director, Screenwriter, Director of Photography, and Photographer Roxanne Valle, mostly known as "Roxy", was born in Montclair, CA and raised to a Guatemalan/ Nicaraguan family in Chino, CA. Coming from a lower middle class family where she lived with 3 sisters, in a dangerous neighborhood, and having parents who were native New Yorkers from Jamaica Queens, Roxy was brought up in a creative, artistic, OPEN minded state of mind where self- expression through writing, music, and dance was encouraged in her family household. While studying music engineering at Mt. SAC at the age of 20, she was introduced to her first camera, a Canon Rebel XTi by a family friend and instantly fell in love with photography and film. As she fell more in love with the filmmaking aspect of movies, she decided to expand her brand by adding film production and media into the foreground of her photography business into a multi-media entertainment production company called Flapper Girl Entertainment, named after her deep love for the 1920's flappers and their lifestyle. She has her Associate's degree in Television Production and on her way to getting her Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Studies from California State University, Los Angeles.
