Pedro Rovisco was born in Estoril, Portugal to Maria do Rosário Rovisco de Andrade and António Miguel Rovisco de Andrade, and is the youngest of two kids. From an early age Pedro revealed a fondness for the stage, taking part in numerous school productions before the age of 10, but it wasn't until the age of sixteen that Pedro discovered his true passion for acting when his best friend at the time challenged him into auditioning for an independent stage production of Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" directed by Miguel Bulteau. Later that year, Pedro auditions for another production, an original play written by Miguel Bulteau entitled "The Rivals", and lands a major role. The play is so successful and Pedro's reviews are so good that he decides it is time to pursue acting in a more serious way. He decides do drop out of highschool and join an acting school. He auditions for a spot at the "Cascais Professional Theatre School" and gets accepted. While attending this school, Pedro takes part in two other productions directed by Miguel Bulteau outside academic hours. The first one, a sequel to "The Rivals", "The Rivals II: Grail of Mess", and the second one, a Musical entitled "What if the World Ended Now?" where Pedro played one of the lead roles. Famine. One of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse who accidentally descend to Earth to end the world just to realize it's the wrong day. By the end of the course, at his graduation, he is nominated for the Student of The Year Award. He then takes part in a two day audition process for the Lisbon Conservatory where out of hundreds of auditions Pedro is granted a spot at the school. After getting his acting Degree from the Lisbon Conservatory, Pedro decides to spend one year working as an actor before continuing his studies in the United States. After said year, Pedro completes his lifelong dream of moving to the United States when he gets accepted to join the Two Year Conservatory Program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York from which he graduated on December, 2013. During his time in New York, Pedro took part in a production of the musical "The Music Man" where he played the demanding role of Oliver Hix, one of the members of the barbershop quartet. At his final performance at the Strasberg Institute, Pedro worked on two different scenes. One form Orpheus Descending, and the other from North of Providence. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
