Johnny Corn was born John Nalty on April 10, 1969. His parents are Damon Nalty, a well known educator and historian and Anna Nalty, who was a nurse. Johnny became a stand up comedian with his first performance on October 25, 1987 at The Ritz Pub in San Jose, California. He quickly gain popularity having the stage name of Psycho Cow. He was a political comic and satirist. He lost the rights to the PsychoCow name in 2003 and changed his name to Johnny Corn which was his nickname given to him from his sisters growing up. In 1993 he married famed photographer Donna Brammer who he met in 1989. Johnny was on air on Q-92 and a fill in on KDON both in Salinas. He also ran the board for KARA of Santa Clara and the popular news radio station KLIV in San Jose. He left broadcasting in 1996 to return to stage work both acting and doing stand up comedy. Johnny created Organic Zombie Productions in 2014 to produce stage productions. The best known show which is hosted by Johnny Corn is Off The Hook Comedy Showcase which started in 2014 and features up and coming comics in a dive bar underground atmosphere. He has done television commercials and is an extra in the movie Colonized. He was the surgeon in Halloween 7 Bloodline. He is known for his activism including fighting hunger and his efforts that helped to free fellow comic Vasu Primlani from wrongful imprisonment in India as well as host of Off The Hook Comedy and founder of Comedy That Cares which connects talent with producers to help them network for important causes. His comedy is observational and slapstick. He is often called "The Thinking Man's Comic" due to his unique style and wit. His tag line at the end of each show "have a great tomorrow"
