Julian Buchan

London/California-based writer, director and photographer. Buchan's films range from intimate character portraits to documentary, documentary ethics and the crossovers between fiction and non-fiction, all the while maintaining a strong focus on character and visual storytelling. A recent Fine Art graduate at University of the Arts, London, Buchan was awarded the LUX Moving Image Award 2014 for my film Niko, Holga, Rebel, and has won the CCW Artist Moving Image Fund two years in a row, the first of which he used to make Cancer Pisces Scorpio, which can also be found here on his profile.
