Angela Yonts was born and raised in the small town of Madisonville, Kentucky. Always having an active imagination, she started creating characters and imitating the people around her at a very young age. She began exercising her acting chops when she got involved with church and school plays around the age of five. As Angela grew older, she joined her schools' drama clubs and became involved in community acting programs as well. Angela began attending college at Western Kentucky University and finished at Murray State University where she received her Bachelor's of Integrated Studies Degree in Theatre in the spring of 2013. After graduating, she decided that she wanted to pursue acting in film. Angela moved to California in the summer of 2013. She was cast in some shorts and student films while getting used to the California lifestyle. A real breakthrough for her career came in the summer of 2014 when she, her ex-boyfriend (Nathan Austin), and a friend from college (Dallas Lee Blanton) teamed up and made their first independent feature called The Middle Ground. Not only did she have a starring role in this film, she was also a producer which gave her the opportunity to really dive into the art of filmmaking as a whole. Angela has acted in several other independent films, web series, and short films since then. From 2016-2018, Angela grew her craft and gained knowledge about comedy by attending and graduating from the Conservatory Program at The Second City in Hollywood. There she focused on improvisation, sketch comedy, stand up comedy, and television pilot writing.
