Chase Ellis was born to Steve and Sherri Ellis on November 19th 1984 in a hospital in Madison Tennessee (just outside of Nashville). In 1986 Steve moved the family to Virginia Beach, VA in order to take a job with the Christian Broadcasting Network as an audio engineer. Over the years Chase met celebrities like Donna Douglas, Mark Lowery, Terry Muessen, and many others who were guests of The 700 Club. In fact, a young Chase Ellis can be found in the audience shots of a few of the episodes. Chase's mother Sherri home-schooled Chase and his 3 younger siblings. Both she and Steve thought it important to get the kids around other kids their age in social settings, so they encouraged all of the Ellis children to become involved in sports. While Chase played Soccer for many years, at about the age of 12 his visits to Academie de Ballet in Chesapeake VA for his sister's dance lessons eventually rubbed off on him. Chase took two years of tap dancing lessons, before diving fully into dance. Over the years he took lessons in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and ballroom dancing. Before Chase earned his High-school Diploma, he had performed in various dance projects with Academie de Ballet and Masterworks. During his high-school years, Chase's mother though it best for him to start attending a home-school enrichment program. "HIS Co-Op" (eventually "The Suffolk Academy for Godly Enrichment" or "SAGE") offered high-school classes taught by eligible teachers one day per week. During the classes they would be assigned four days worth of homework to have completed before the next class day. One of the classes they offered was a drama class. Chase fell in love. Not only did he attend the drama class at SAGE, but Masterworks began to offer an acting class as well that he attended. For most of his High-school years Chase was involved in theater in one form or another seven days per week. Around this time, Chase's father began working on small video productions of his own. Steve, having worked with many voice-actors in his career (such as Lee Lively, and Ross Bagley) began doing voice overs on his work. This is when Chase was introduced to the world of Voice-Over, and he's been working hard at it ever since. As of the writing of this biography, Chase lives in North Carolina with his wife Heather Lee Ellis and daughter Sonia Genesis Rosa Ellis. He has a small recording studio in his home, and his wife (being classically trained) teaches Voice and Piano.
