Rhabi was born Robin A Stevens in Greensboro, NC. She was a foster child who later became adopted to a wonderful pair who nurtured her in a strict Christian environment. She had always loved writing, but it took her English Professor at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC to notice her ability to express herself in all of her essay questions. She did not take up writing right away, as she wanted to be a singer. But when she married a man who abused her, it was then she took back to writing as it "brought her peace." To date, Rhabi has written 30 full-length stage plays, 15 one-act stage plays and one musical. Since 2001, she has directed and produced 19 of her works through her non-profit organization Reaching the World, Inc. which she established to share her testimony and experiences with the world. Her skills as a writer have also been validated with the 2006 publishing of her first novel titled: Delivered under the pseudonym Rhabi Rites. The book is an inspirational novel that was inspired by her own struggle with identity. The story centers around Heaven, a young woman who has an identity crisis after she discovers that she has been adopted. Heaven then embarks on a liberal journey of self-discovery which is often realized through her frequent and often controversial choices in men. She quickly becomes a mistress to many and falls deeper into an emotional trench. The impact of Delivered was so great, Rhabi completed a second novel titled Heaven's Return and developed a web-series, based on the main character Heaven. Produced under her newly established media company Rhabi Rites Productions, the web-series (also titled: Heaven) completed it's 3rd season. Rhabi then went on to direct and produce a new web series titled, A Cry In The Dark, the true story about a gangster, gang banger drug dealer who wants his story told. Rhabi's foray in to the realm of film making is not limited to this series. She has also co-written three short films. The film Keep Out premieres on a North Carolina Public network, Cable 8 each year during Halloween and the film Mind Seduction won a Feature Film Award at Pinnacle Studios. Rhabi's other creative writing includes a catalog of 20 songs; an array of poetry and 3 published monologues that are used in the classroom at Potsdam University in New York. In 2015, Robin completed and published a biography on Faye Tedder, which was written as a chronicle of Faye's struggle with COPD. She has recently recorded one of her songs, "God Was There" and another song, Lord our God and expects to complete her debut album by 2023. Rhabi is working on her web series Heaven, which will be adapted to a short film this summer, 2022.
