Liz Cotone, originally Elizabeth Rosengren, began her career in theater as an actor and producer. She spent three years as the Artistic Director of Theater 150 in Ojai, California, where she was also the founding Managing Director of the Ojai Playwrights Conference. Shortly after moving her acting career to New York City in 2005, Liz also began writing for theater and film. Her plays were produced by several downtown theatres, and she self-produced four short films. In 2009, Liz returned to the West Coast to begin the MFA Writing program at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. While there, she won two awards for her feature screenplays before completing her thesis in television writing. Liz is represented by Art/Work Entertainment and has several projects in development. She is a proud mother and loves the life of a scribe.
