A native of Chicago, IL, Hannah Tuohy Vilic is a stage and film performer and avid movie fan. Her work on film includes the The Curse of the Tempest Jewel, where she played a key ensemble role as police chief Sheanusy O'Shaughnessy, and The Spy Who Knew Me playing covert spy and master of disguise, Fayth Faulconbridge. Both films were produced by A.B.L.E. (Artists Breaking Limits & Expectations), of which Vilic is a founding ensemble member. During her tenure with A.B.L.E. Vilic has performed in numerous stage productions ranging from classical theatre to original devised performances. Some of her favorite roles include Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Hannah in Such Stuff That Dreams Are Mad On, Alice in Adventures in Wonderland, and Malvolio in Twelfth Night for Shakespeare 400 Chicago at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Her film work also includes an appearance as the featured author on Green Screen Adventures, which brought to life her short story "Cookies for the Queen." Vilic fell in love with movies at first site. Favorites change year to year, but When Harry Met Sally, Groundhog Day, Auntie Mame, Chicago, Mama Mia, Legally Blonde, and Pitch Perfect remain close to her heart. She also loves to travel and has spent time in Italy, Ireland, England, Croatia, Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Germany. Hannah lives in Chicago with her parents. She attends Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls Catholic high school committed to inclusive education. Hannah is one of two students with Down Syndrome participating in the school's international baccalaureate program.
