Jack Hardwick Morgan is the founder and managing member of Captain Morgan Productions, LLC, a film production company in Atlanta, GA. He is the executive producer and screenwriter of the film, "Knighted Pirate - Captain Morgan's Blue Water Empire" (pre-production). An 11th-generation descendant of Sir Henry "Captain" Morgan, Morgan also is writer and producer of the upcoming documentary, "One Man's Treasure," about the family legacy regarding Captain Morgan, the 17th-century privateer serving in the British Royal Navy and conquering the West Indies for the British Crown. Jack has been involved in the entertainment industry and related fields since 1984, when with the support of Jimmy Buffett, he owned the first "Margaritaville" in Gulf Shores, Alabama. An acclaimed artist, Morgan is the president of JackArt, Inc., a successful art enterprise of paintings, original-painted clothing and other artwork in Atlanta. His works adorn the walls of famous collectors around the world, including Keith Richards, Chuck Leavell, Bernard Fowler and Blondie Chaplin (all from the Rolling Stones, of course), as well as Jeff Beck, Jimmy Hall, former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker, Hollywood author and filmmaker J. Marshall Craig, Young and the Restless star David Shark Fralick, Dean Roland from Collective Soul, new age artist Yanni, and others. As CEO of Morgan Publishing Company, he has published the following books most recently "Scars and Strikes", the biography of famed Atlanta Braves closer John Rocker. Morgan also publishes four monthly B2B magazines, social and digital media.
