Duduzile Zamantungwa Mabaso

duduzile zamantungwa mabaso is a creative who has been working professionally as a scriptwriter, storyliner and editor since 2006. She started as a trainee writer on Ubizo-The Calling and then moved into storylining at Muvhango. She has worked on telenovelas ever since the first one produced in South Africa, iNkaba, including Uzalo which shattered premier night ratings when it debuted in 2014; her most recent being in variously roles from storylining to head writer, The Queen. Though she has written for the children's program Thabang Thabong as well as the Lokshin Bioskop movie, Viva Gomora, she primarily works in long-running serials and in drama series such Zabalaza, Tempy Pushas, Soul City, Mamello, Housekeepers and Ithemba. Her most recent work is as head writer on season 2 of Unmarried. Her other writing forays include poetry and book publishing. In 2016, the Independent Media Group, recognised her as one of the 100 Young Independents. She founded her publishing and story development company, Black Letter Media, in 2011.
