Leigh-Ann is an American archaeologist and Director of the Petra Garden and Pool Complex archaeological excavations in Petra, Jordan, which is uncovering the ruins of a paradeisos in the capital of the ancient Nabataean kingdom. She earned her PhD in anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania and now teaches anthropology at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College.
