Heather Leigh Cameron was born in High River, Alberta, Canada on November 23, 1987 and is based out of Lethbridge, Alberta. Heather started in theatrical roles in 1996 and her earliest role of memory was 'Jacqueline Frost' in a Christmas play that her Grade 4 class at A.B. Daley School in Nanton, Alberta, Canada performed. From there, Heather acted again in 2001-2002 in the role of a 'Villager' in a production of Fiddler on the Roof Jr. at Raymond Jr. High School in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. From 2002 to 2005, Heather was a performer in the Raymond High School Show Choir, where she also took on several speaking roles and also accompanied the group on tours to Edmonton, Disneyland, and Ottawa. Between her high school graduation in 2005 and 2017, Heather participated in various local choirs, crews for various performances, and self-produced entertainment content on YouTube. While doing all this, Heather also got her diploma in Communication Arts: Print Journalism from Lethbridge College in 2007 and worked as a freelance journalist alongside her acting career, which is how she got into self-production. In 2017, Heather took her first leading role as Priscilla Pringle in 'Priscilla Pringle's Predicament' when it was performed at Lethbridge's annual Whoop-Up Days Fair. In 2019, Heather served as a background extra in a locally filmed movie called 'Nouveaux Arrivants' that was produced by Société cInéMAGINE de l'Alberta (which was released virtually in 2021 due to COVID-19) and that made Heather really want to pursue on-screen work more. Unfortunately, COVID-19 made that difficult. Fortunately, Heather's career has really begun to grow during the pandemic because more opportunity came to take acting courses remotely, audition remotely, and also learn different types of acting. In the summer of 2020, she ended up getting wind of an unpaid voice-role opportunity in a web series created by Survivor alumni Erik Reichenbach called 'Highschool Vampire Chronicles.' That series has 5 episodes to date. Since then, she has done some film work, participated in virtual entertainment work courtesy of No Budget Productions, Monroe Civic County Theatre, and Table Read Tuesdays, and is also continuing self-produce content.
