Victoria Hooten

Victoria was born in Rome, Italy, while her father was a member of the Foreign Service. Her mother is originally from Guatemala and her father is of Irish-American descent from Philadelphia, PA. Her father's career took the family to live in various places around the world and the US since she was born. It was in Azerbaijan where she started her TV and modeling career by chance at age of four. While taking riding lessons at the Baku Equestrian Club, the owners approached her parents to ask if Victoria would be the face of a TV and print campaign to promote the club. Later her family moved to Hawaii and then the Dominican Republic where she continued to book TV commercials and print jobs as well as participated in her school productions. Moving to the Dominican Republic, allowed Victoria to expand her cultural understanding and build her language skills in both English and Spanish. She developed a great love of the outdoors and learned to scuba dive. With so many changes happening in her life, Victoria embraced the challenges of her new environment each time. It is very easy for her to engage with new people and is always open to sharing her unique experiences while learning all she can about others. When it was time to head back to the U.S. her family settled into the Chicago area. Victoria worked on her professional skills and quickly obtained representation in both Los Angeles and Chicago. She appeared in several ads, catalogues and websites for companies such as Kohl's, Passion Beauty and American Girl, for which she also booked the cover and feature article in one of the summer issues. She enjoys working in local community theater and school productions. Recently, she worked on short films and graduate student productions from the Chicago area. In 2014, she joined her high school Speech Team and achieved national ranking in her first year of competition. She has also found her voice through singing, being mentored by Colleen Lovinello (Mezzo Soprano at Lyric Opera of Chicago). Outside acting and singing, Victoria enjoys playing tennis and cycling along the many nature trails close to her home. She is looking forward to pursuing her Theater and Film degree in college after graduation.
