Matt Marsden

Matt Marsden is a professional Cutman most known for his work with Bellator MMA (formerly Bellator Fighting Championship). Matt was born in Mattoon, Il to Geri and Terry Marsden. His father died in 1994 and he and his mother moved the St.Louis, MO area soon after. He has one sister who is six years older than himself. Matt started off in traditional medicine as an EMT and a scrub nurse, working in the operating rooms and ER's around the St.Louis area. While at this time Matt was also working as a Cutman for regional Mixed Martial Arts promotions and boxers. Matt Was found by Bellator MMA in Miami, OK when he was present at the show (then on MTV2) to coach his own fighter. He has since worked with Bellator MMA full time, having stayed with the company through it's sale to Viacom and the front office management changes that happened in 2014. Matt is now the head Cutman for Bellator MMA.
