Geordie Trifa is an award-winning Canadian BIPOC director, and writer. Currently(2022), he is directing a blue-chip natural history series which will be released on CBC's 'Nature of Things' in 2024. Geordie's most recent directing credits include the CBC films Pandemic Elementary' and 'Black Rock,' both currently available on CBC Gem. His feature documentary 'A Life Unbound' is globally distributed by Off The Fence. The film is currently broadcasted in eight countries and was nominated for the Jury Prize at the 2020 Raw Science Film Festival in LA. 'A Life Unbound' was released in 2019 following internationally renowned Neuroscientist Anat Baniel. Geordie's latest drama is the Harold Greenberg Financed 'Call Me AWOL,' which he both wrote and directed following the story of a seventeen-year-old boy navigating the youth justice system; 'Call Me AWOL' begins its festival run in 2022.
