Catarina Brites

Catarina Filipa Brites Gonçalves was born in 1990, Lisbon, Portugal. Her first performance was in a play in elementary school, since then she never stopped acting in school and later in small groups of theaters. At the same time, she was taking a Major in English Studies at the University of Lisbon, she was in a Drama Course directed by Bruno Schiappa at Chapitô (2009-2012) with the plays Teatro Infernal (2010), Um Lobisomem Português em Paris (2011), Vício: Modo de Usar (2012). She worked with Ávila Costa in 'Grupo de Letras' with the play Aldrabices (2012-2013) and she attended workshops with Marcia Haufrecht (2011), John Frey (2012) and the Scream School (2014). She recently moved to London where she landed a role in the Malumi Music Video 'Lullaby' (2015) and in the 'Impatient Patient Disorder' as Julie Barns (2016).
