Bev Fairman Boyd is an actress known for her role as a church patron in the feature film 'Everything but a Man' (2015) (2019). Bev received her B.A. degree from Howard University, and her M.S. degree from DePaul University; and she is pursuing her Ph.D. Bev was raised by a mother who was a house wife, and a preacher's son - turned CEO father. As a child, she stayed busy with extracurricular activities that included voice, piano and acting lessons. At a young age, she discovered her love for acting and music. She performed in several school and community plays, musicals and vocal performances. Her father continuously stressed the importance of education. As a result, Bev matriculated into Howard University. She first majored in music, with a minor in Drama. However, her father had a different plan and direction for her life. She then changed her major to Communications - Television & Film, with a minor in music. As a Howard University student, Bev gained experience in production, research and writing, with Fox Television (WTTG), America's most Wanted; and Black Entertainment Television. After graduating from Howard University, Bev began her career outside of entertainment. As a result, she has a diverse background in various leadership roles, and was afforded the opportunity to work with special events to include the Inauguration of President Bill Clinton. Bev rediscovered her love for acting and music; while encouraging and supporting her daughter to develop her talents, and follow her own dreams.
