Ella Grace Helton is a tiny powerhouse of personality who engulfs those around her with infectious positive energy. She has enjoyed acting roles in TV, film, commercials and Broadway, and made her filmmaking debut at age 9, having written, directed and edited her first film, "Wild Thing," in June 2022. At age 6, Ella charmed audiences as the lovable and quirky Emily Ryan, a series regular on the ABC sitcom "United We Fall," alongside comedic greats Jane Curtin (Saturday Night Live, Kate & Allie), Will Sasso (MADtv, The Three Stooges), Christina Vidal (Life With Mikey, Freaky Friday, Taina) and Guillermo Diaz (Scandal). Continuing to share her "DNA funny" roots, Ella made her major motion picture debut the same year as her sitcom, as Jessa Phillips (mini Harley Quinn) opposite Adam Sandler in Netflix's "Hubie Halloween." She then showed her range with the dramatic lead role of Maisie in the 2022 short film "Hummingbird." The little old soul has 18 commercials to her credit, including for Disney, Marriott, Hasbro, Gerber, Orowheat (with John Stamos) and Comcast XFINITY (with Amy Poehler). She first was seen nationwide as the hero girl in Disney's The Power of Magic campaign that launched in 2017 and continued for years. In 2019, she captured hearts across the country in a spot for American Family Insurance, where she shared her personal story about her own business, Ella Bella Beads, and her charitable efforts. In the commercial, Ella talks with Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter - while making bead bracelets together - about her mission to raise money to combat child hunger. The child entrepreneur launched two online stores in 2022, one for her jewelry and one for her fine art. A hometown art gallery welcomed Ella as the first child artist to display work there, and soon after, she entered her first retail consignment partnership for her jewelry. Ella's introverted father works in cyber security and her mother is a journalist. They had to quickly learn what to do with their natural comedian who had a penchant for performing in front of audiences. Turned away from other activities due to her young age, Ella was welcomed by a youth performing arts studio in her native Brevard County, Florida, at age 2, where she started in musical theater classes. At the age of 5, she was cast as Lulu in the Broadway tour of Waitress. At age 6, she embraced her love of comedy by portraying Lord Farquaad in a community production of Shrek The Musical, Jr. Ella fills her non-acting life with competitive ballroom dancing and music - composing original songs in the moment and singing along to piano and guitar. Her home school experience includes training in improv, various dance disciplines, singing, piano, guitar, voiceover, songwriting, American Sign Language and fine art. She loves improvising dramatic aerial routines as an artist on silks, lyra and trapeze. She also enjoys inline skating, coding, yoga, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, playing video games and building LEGOs. Ella is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency and manager Kim Matuka of Schuller Talent LA/NY Kids.
