Cédric Blaisbois

Cedric Blaisbois is a filmmaker. After graduating in Fine Arts from the ENSAD, Cedric commenced work as a graphic designer blending modern elements with classic design techniques to produce unique and fascinating artwork. Cedric then began directing, retooling his design experience to shoot commercials and music videos inspired by art house directors such as John Carpenter, David Cronenberg and John Landis. His ability to engender powerful footage that blends the boundary between reality and fantasy immediately brought him to the forefront of commercial production and promo work across Europe. Examples include the music video Corporate Occult for Finnish Electro DJ Huoratron, a cautionary tale featuring sexually provocative yet terrifyingly demonic moments - a contemplative, almost elegiac music video shot like a ubiquitous home sex tape yet worn as ironic horror story. Cedric's experience of mixing a variety of techniques, in addition to his graphic design background has made for an exceptional visual pallet. His images are fantastic yet rooted in the real world, an inspired filmmaker who pushes the boundaries of creativity to craft spectacular moving images.
