Born on April 22, 1988 in Zurich, Switzerland. His mother, Hilda I. (Nwana), was born in Cameroon; and his father, Thomas Fisler, was a civil engineer-turned-diplomat from Zurich, Switzerland. The middle child of three - he has an older brother, Jan, and a younger sister, Tania. At the age of 10, he along with his family moved to Kathmandu, Nepal. There he attended Lincoln School, an American-International School. After high school, he moved to Vancouver, Canada and attended the University of British Columbia for three years where he entertained the idea of completing a degree in Political Science and Economics. However, after being asked to leave the University of British Columbia, he headed back to Europe, living in Paris, France for a year and a half and attended Alliance Francaise to learn French. He then made his way back to Vancouver and completed a one-year program in acting from the Vancouver Film School.
