Luis Moreta

Writer/Director/Actor Luis Moreta (Luisito Mo) was born June 13, in New York City (Harlem), New York, was raised in Upper Manhattan (Washington Heights) until 12 years old then grew up in Perth Amboy, NJ. In 2002 he graduated from Woodbridge High School, in Woodbridge, New Jersey. After graduating he and his family picked up and moved to Miami, Florida, where he got a taste of the entertainment world. He started working as a club promoter for several night clubs and adult entertainment clubs and expos. When his mother was diagnosed with cancer, Luis and his family moved back to New Jersey so his mother could seek treatment. Luis always had a passion for writing music and stories but it wasn't until 2014 when he decided to take his passion and turn his ideas and visions to films. While going to TCI College to earn his degree in Networking Technology, he started working at the help desk as a tech and met his co-worker and later on partner Miguelina Olivares, also a writer/director/actor. She always talked to Luis about filming and the experiences she had. She brought in Luis as an Assistant Director for her film which she created called Robin. Doing the film Luis's passion became more and decided that this is what he wants to do.
