Nerissa Street is a multiple award-winning teaching artist who believes in the power of the uncommon voice. She believes we retell the wrong stories. In trying to save the new generation from the pain we had, we hobble their resilience, and prevent them from experiencing the power that comes from self-discovery. Her training in education, technology, business and spirituality enable her to collaborate with divergent stakeholders to develop and produce innovative work. Her heritage is Caribbean, her nationality is American, and her vision is global.
