Roman Goncharenko was born in 1997 in Svetlovodsk, Ukraine. He was the second child after his sister Jana, in the family of fisherman Alexander Goncharenko and accountant Lyudmila. In 2013, after the 9th grade of high school, at the age of 15, he entered the Alexandria School of Culture, specializing in spectacular and theatrical events, which after two years he graduated with honors. He made his first short film called "License" in 2014 at the age of 16. The following year, Roman moved to St. Petersburg, where he successfully entered the oldest and largest institution of its kind in the country - Russian State Institute of Performing Arts with the specialty Film or Television Director. After 2 years of study, he left school giving preference to work. By that time, Roman was closely engaged in directing and post-production of the "Stars on Ice" project for the largest hockey channel - KHL TV. At the beginning of 2019, he got a job at "Kino TV", the largest cinema channel in the country, as a senior visual effects specialist/director of the visual effects department. In 2020, Roman Goncharenko created his own website providing a wide range of services in the field of post-production, in particular - visual effects.
