Dr. Scott Glenn's book, Heroes from Heaven Battle Ground Earth: Good vs. Evil (2016) completed a successful Barnes and Noble book tour from the east coast NY, NJ, PA, DE, WV, MD, and DE, ending in Burbank, CA. The book has been made into a screenplay and has won numerous awards including Best Script, Fan favorite, and Best Writer selected by the Christian Film festival (2017), and was selected and nominated 3 times including Best Script by the International Action On Film (AOF) Festival (2018). Hollywood Weekly Magazine featured Dr. Glenn in their September 2017 Special Emmy Edition which included many celebrities including the amazing Dolly Parton. Dr. Glenn was also featured in the February Black History Edition (2018) both on the front cover and exclusively inside the magazine. This edition featured him along with sports star LeBron James and comedian Kevin Hart just to name a few. Dr. Scott Glenn has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Government, A Pennsylvania Social Studies Certificate (Private School), MBA in Business Administration and Marketing, and is a Doctor of Education. Besides being employed as an Instructor of Marketing, Advertising and Promotions, and Business and Economics at The Pennsylvania State University, Glenn also teaches Marketing (International Graduate Students), International Business Management (Graduate Students), Sports Ethics and Issues, Sports Marketing, and Doctorate classes at Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware. Glenn also serves on the board of Empowering Women's Engagement Foundation, Inc., in Orlando, Florida. In addition, Glenn is a board member at The Ruddy Group where he provides invaluable insight into the dynamics of cultural and intellectual diversity in marketing, and is a board member at College Possible Philadelphia which provides education services and support for lower income students to enter college. Before teaching at Penn State University, Glenn was a Professor in Principles of Marketing, Principles of E-Commerce, and Fundamentals of Selling at Camden County College in Blackwood, New Jersey. Glenn worked in both the private and public school sectors, where he helped to resurrect and start alternative educational programs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C., and Florida. Glenn's tenure in the private school realm involved positions as an educator and administrator. While employed in the public school district in Pennsylvania, Glenn taught in various districts such as the Unionville-Chaddsford, Downingtown, and Coatesville schooling societies. From 1993-1997, Glenn served in the United States Marine Corps participating in His tour in Operation Able Vigil (Cuban Refugee Crises) in 1994 and Operation Uphold Democracy (Port Au Prince Haiti Crises) in 1994. Glenn has also coached football at the collegiate and high school levels, Unionville-Chadds-ford High School as an assistant and Head Coach (1999-2003), Albright College (2004-2007), Pottstown High School (2008), and Kutztown University (2010). Glenn is a published author for the AFCA (Adding Motivation to Coaching Concepts can be Self-Contagious (2006), and completed a doctoral dissertation entitled, A Qualitative Ethnographic Study of African American Leadership in Higher Education Administration (2010). He also published 7 books entitled: The Triangle Plan: A Guide to a Successful Life Derived from Personal Experience (2011), American Christianity: Truth or Tradition? A Personal Perspective (2012), The Dissertation Process That Works: A Doctoral Guide to Success (2013), Christian Leadership: Alpha to Omega (2015), Personal Finance: An Encyclopedia of Modern Money Management (2015) and Heroes From Heaven: Battle Ground Earth (2016) Along with his induction into the West Virginia University Institute of Technology Hall of Fame in 2009, Glenn was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame (Tri-County Chapter) on October 17, 2009. Glenn is also the recipient of the West Virginia University Institute of Technology Alumni of the Year (2012), and the 2013 recipient of the University of Phoenix Community Service Alumni Award.
