Andrew G. Douglas is an Australian-born filmmaker. He grew up near some of Australia's best surf breaks on the Gold Coast, and credits his parents for introducing him to the ocean at an early age. He has always been interested in movies, and started cutting together out-dated VHS clips of early surfing footage at age 12. He still owns the original copy. He is well known for creating Ten Million Throwaways, a documentary filmed on location in several countries throughout the world.
