Dustin Lester

Dustin Lester was born and raised in the small town of Greenback, Tennessee, just outside of Knoxville. At a very early age Dustin had a strong fascination of being in front of the camera. He feels most alive and in his comfort zone when the camera is on him. He is most influenced by Arnold Schwarzengger and his films. Dustin's dream is to play such roles. Dustin faced adversity at the beginning of his career when it came to casting. His southern accent was very heavy when he first came to Los Angeles, but with the help of vocal training classes, his accent is only mild now. Dustin grew up with an amazing childhood but was frustrated with the lack of theater community in his town, which had limited opportunities to expand his training. In June 2014, Dustin packed his bags and headed to California without a plan, letting his instincts guide him to the city of Los Angeles. Dustin had hopes of becoming successful, but due to his lack of money and back up plan, he could not afford a decent product package and had a hard time getting in the casting room. During the months of June to September Dustin still maintained his financial struggle for an acting career and a permanent residence. Despite all these adversities, Dustin maintained a positive attitude and he started making industry connections. One of them just so happened to be a producer on a hit TV show. That man quickly saw something different in him than he's seen in any other actor. He knew Dustin was determined to get to the top no matter what it took. He helped mentor Dustin and guide him in the right direction to take the steps to start an acting career. Not long after that, Dustin was able to work on several projects and pay for a professional product package which enabled him to get auditions and book regularly. Dustin has trained at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, Groundlings, Doug Warhit on-camera private coaching, but his main focus is on the school he is currently attending called the Theatrical School of Combat. In his free time, he likes to watch movies with his wife, audit acting classes, lift weights, juice, walks on the beach, and writing original scripts.
