Fabio Miranda is a Brazilian director and producer. He began his acting career in theater since the age of seventeen years participating in shows such as The Impostures of Scapin (1986), Oedipus King (1987), Two Lost in a Dirty Night (1988) and Godspeel (1989). In 1990 he writes his first play Drops of Tension in a Tragedy of Illusion (1990), in which, besides acting, has its debut in the direction. In 1991 he moved to the city of Campinas and began teaching acting classes, dedicating himself to the training of actors until the end of 1993. Always seeking to deepen his knowledge in the art of movement and human expression concludes the course of Physical Education at the University State of Campinas and develops a method of preparation of actors using the knowledge acquired in the concepts of physical training and Bioginastica, combining them to the method of Stanislavski, extending its classes to a wider audience interested in improving performance when they appear before the public, in front of the cameras or in search of personal development. In 2001 Miranda founded Digital Take, his first video producer company, and began producing audiovisual content for advertising, events and institutional market. In 2009 he produced Black Fashion Ultra Dive (2009), a short film presented on a special night of the Rio de Janeiro International Festival. In that same year he founded FROM Digital Multimedia, directing from there his career to the direction and cinematographic production. In 2016, his production company is called FROM Films, producing, in addition to a dozen short films, the feature films City in Transe (2016) and O Terço (2017), also preparing actors for the feature Eu Sou Brasileiro (2018). Fábio Miranda has an MBA in Cinema from the Latin America Film Institute and has great versatility built over the years acting as director, producer and cinematographer, always having the actor as the main reference for his work.
