Yi Cheng

Yi Cheng was noticed for his artistic talent at a young age. Having been praised for his innate ability with color and composition by relatives, friends and strangers alike, when it came time to apply for university, he chose the most prestigious performing arts university in China, Shanghai Theater Academy, and was accepted at first review. While in university, Yi began to find an interest in film and started to consider it as a possible career option. By the time he graduated, he had directed several short films, produced a web series, and he had even been hired as the assistant director for a feature-length film which was later broadcast on CCTV-6, a national Chinese public network. His course was set - he decided to come to America to learn from the best and create his style as a director of psychological thrillers.
